ICE ARRESTS 319 UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS IN MASSIVE RAID AT CALIFORNIA CANNABIS FARMS

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested 319 undocumented immigrants during coordinated operations at two cannabis cultivation sites in California on Thursday. The agency said the arrests represent the largest worksite immigration raid under the current Trump administration.

ICE officials stated that the individuals were working without legal authorization and that the operations were the result of a months-long investigation into labor law violations and suspected misuse of work authorization documents.

The raids took place in Northern California and involved collaboration with federal and state law enforcement agencies. ICE confirmed that all individuals taken into custody are being processed according to immigration enforcement protocols.

The employers at the sites are also under investigation. Civil rights advocates and immigrant groups have expressed concern over the scale of the raid and its impact on families and local communities.
