\u201cThe United States of America has been ripped off on TRADE (and MILITARY!), by friend and foe, alike, for DECADES,\u201d Trump wrote. He urged other countries to acknowledge what he described as a long-standing \u201cfree ride\u201d at America’s expense and expressed confidence that global partners would understand the need for change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that the U.S. should thank them for recognizing \u201cthe situation we are in\u201d and emphasized that adjustments are necessary to prioritize American interests going forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
