Adam Schiff committed mortgage fraud involving a property in Maryland, according to statements released by former President Donald Trump. The allegations focus on a series of refinancing transactions between 2009 and 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Trump, the fraud \u201cbegan with the refinancing of his Maryland property on February 6, 2009, and continued through multiple transactions until it was finally designated a second home on October 13, 2020.\u201d Schiff has not publicly responded to the accusations, and no criminal charges have been announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a statement posted to Truth Social, Trump described the situation as \u201cvery serious\u201d and called Schiff \u201cdishonest,\u201d urging that he be \u201cbrought to justice.\u201d Schiff, a former House impeachment manager and now a U.S. Senator, has frequently clashed with Trump in past political battles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fannie Mae has not yet released an official statement confirming the internal findings.
