According to a New York post article, Dan Rivera, a well-known paranormal investigator and U.S. Army veteran, died suddenly Sunday night while on tour in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, with the infamous Annabelle doll. He was 54. According to the New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR), Rivera was the group\u2019s lead investigator and had just completed a three-day, sold-out stop at the historic Soldiers National Orphanage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Emergency crews were called to Rivera\u2019s hotel late Sunday night, where CPR was performed, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, The Evening Sun<\/em> reported. His cause of death has not yet been determined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rivera was known for his appearances on the Travel Channel\u2019s Most Haunted Places<\/em> and as a producer on Netflix\u2019s 28 Days Haunted<\/em>. He was actively touring with NESPR to showcase Annabelle, the allegedly haunted doll that inspired The Conjuring<\/em> film series and was once housed in the Warrens\u2019 occult museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rivera is survived by his wife, Sarah, and their four children.
