Wearing a <strong>cream-colored coat<\/strong> paired with <strong>red gloves<\/strong>, the First Lady circled the tree \u2014 delivered on a <strong>horse-drawn wagon<\/strong> \u2014 and briefly greeted the drivers before it was carried inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The concolor fir, standing <strong>25 feet (7.6 meters)<\/strong> tall, comes from <strong>Korson\u2019s Tree Farms in Michigan<\/strong>. It was selected by the <strong>National Christmas Tree Association<\/strong>, which has supplied the White House tree since 1961.
