His comments echo a broader tech-industry shift as Meta, Google, Amazon, and others aggressively cut middle management to speed up AI experimentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">\u201cUNLEARNING SUCCESS\u201d TO SURVIVE THE AI ERA<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Nadella said large organizations must <strong>\u201cunlearn the things that made them successful\u201d<\/strong> if they want to remain relevant as AI rewrites how products are built and shipped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He emphasized replacing a <strong>\u201cknow-it-all\u201d<\/strong> mindset with a <strong>\u201clearn-it-all\u201d<\/strong> mentality \u2014 a cultural shift he has been attempting to push internally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A leaked Microsoft org chart recently reviewed by Business Insider shows Nadella now has <strong>16 direct reports<\/strong>, hand-selected to <strong>break down silos<\/strong> and accelerate the company\u2019s transition toward a unified AI-driven structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">WHY MOST CORPORATE AI PROJECTS FAIL<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Nadella also warned that most enterprise AI initiatives collapse because companies treat AI as a <strong>traditional IT upgrade<\/strong>, rather than a full operational transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said companies must fix <strong>four foundational elements<\/strong> if they want AI to succeed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Rethink workflows from scratch<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Adopt modern AI tools<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Train employees at every level<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ensure data isn\u2019t trapped in outdated systems<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Only organizations willing to <strong>rebuild their foundations<\/strong> \u2014 and leaders willing to <strong>abandon old habits<\/strong> \u2014 will see meaningful gains from AI, he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Microsoft CEO says he spends weekends studying startup product-building habits as Big Tech races to shed hierarchy and move at AI speed.
