In a historic and explosive shake-up for Hollywood<\/strong>, Warner Bros. Discovery announced Friday that it has agreed to sell its studios and streaming operations to Netflix<\/strong> in a blockbuster deal valued at $82.7 billion<\/strong> \u2014 instantly positioning Netflix as the most dominant content powerhouse ever assembled in the digital age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If approved by federal regulators, the merger would unite the world\u2019s largest streaming platform \u2014 with more than 300 million global subscribers<\/strong> \u2014 with a century-old studio catalog that includes HBO, HBO Max, DC Comics, Harry Potter, Friends, Casablanca, Citizen Kane<\/strong>, and thousands of iconic film and TV properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Warner Bros. Discovery has been struggling under:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          ANTITRUST BATTLE LOOMS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
