What can I say? Explosions are COOL!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Experts told <em>The Post<\/em> the fandom \u2014 once large enough for annual conventions \u2014 is generally not sexualized and largely consists of sincere adult hobbyists.<br>Dr. <strong>Daniel Chadborn<\/strong>, an academic who studies the Brony community, said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cSomeone who is disaffected is often going to look for spaces to engage in, for a sense of identity and belonging.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">FAN FICTION WITH DARK THEMES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Cole also appears to have written My Little Pony fan fiction blending fantasy and horror.
