Cornejo, who identifies as a Morena state counselor in Jalisco, shared an image on X (formerly Twitter) on June 9 showing a person holding a Mexican flag in front of a car marked \u201cFuck ICE,\u201d in reference to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The post was captioned with: \u201cVan a quitar visas a quienes compart&#8230; Viva la raza y m\u00e9tanse mi visa por el culo.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The post received over 9,000 likes and drew strong reactions, including a public reply from Landau, who called the message \u201cvulgar\u201d and said he had issued the order to cancel her visa. However, Landau later clarified that Cornejo did not currently hold a valid visa to revoke. \u201cThose who glorify violence and defy legitimate authorities and public order (\u2018FU** ICE\u2019) are not welcome in our country,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the backlash, Cornejo made her social media accounts private. Her X and Instagram profiles, which previously identified her as a psychologist, columnist, and political analyst, now show restricted access. In 2023, she had publicly announced her intent to run for federal deputy in Mexico\u2019s District 10 in Zapopan.
