Cinnamon contains <strong>cinnamaldehyde<\/strong>, while turmeric\u2019s primary compound is <strong>curcumin<\/strong>, both widely studied in nutritional science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Studies published in the <em>Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry<\/em> note that antioxidants help neutralize oxidative stress at the cellular level, a process associated with chronic inflammation and aging.
