Former President Donald Trump intensified his criticism of Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) on Friday, alleging that the longtime congressional critic should “pay the price” for what Trump described as “a real crime.”
In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump accused Schiff of falsifying loan documents and promoting false allegations involving Trump’s son, whom he claimed “did nothing wrong.” Trump also repeated past criticisms, calling the Russia investigation a “scam” and accusing Schiff of orchestrating a “coup” alongside other Democrats.
“Adam ‘Shifty’ Schiff is in BIG TROUBLE!” Trump wrote. “He falsified Loan Documents… Shifty should pay the price of prison for a real crime, not one made up by the corrupt accusers!”
Schiff has not responded publicly to the latest accusations. No formal charges or legal actions related to these new claims have been announced.
