TRUMP: NO U.S. TROOPS IN UKRAINE, SECURITY GUARANTEES MAY COME ‘BY AIR’

President Donald Trump said the United States will not deploy ground troops to Ukraine, but suggested that any U.S. security guarantees could be provided “by air.” His comments, reported by Fox News, come as Washington intensifies discussions over potential ceasefire terms and broader security arrangements for Kyiv.

Trump emphasized that while the U.S. remains committed to supporting Ukraine, direct military involvement on the ground is off the table. Instead, he hinted at the possibility of American air power being used as part of future guarantees.

The remarks follow Trump’s recent summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska and meetings with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and European leaders in Washington. Negotiations are expected to continue over territorial disputes and the scope of any Western-backed security assurances.
