“That’s not true,” Trump said in a statement. “I want Elon and all American businesses to succeed. The better they do, the better it is for the United States—and that benefits us all.”
The president’s comments come as his administration continues to promote economic growth and record-setting performance in various sectors. “We’re breaking records every day, and I want that to continue,” he added.
Musk’s companies, including Tesla and SpaceX, have long benefited from federal incentives and partnerships, and remain key players in technology, transportation, and space industries.
