A dashcam video captured in Livingston Parish, Louisiana, on Wednesday afternoon shows the dramatic moment an electrical worker was struck by the top of an 18-wheeler while servicing a traffic signal. The worker, who was elevated in a lift truck at the time, was hit as the truck passed beneath the intersection in the right lane.
According to Denham Springs police, the worker sustained only minor injuries and was not hospitalized. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident to determine whether proper safety measures were in place and whether the truck was in violation of height clearance limits.
