Prince Andrew may be able to resume international travel after a leaked memo revealed that the FBI is closing its investigation into his links with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. The Duke of York, 65, had largely remained in the UK in recent years, reportedly due to concerns about potential legal action abroad.
Sources told The Sun that Andrew had only left the country once since the scandal broke — traveling to Bahrain in 2022 — and had avoided trips over fears of arrest or civil lawsuits. “He has always been very nervous about going abroad,” the source said. “Hopefully with this out of the way, he can at least leave the country.”
The memo reportedly confirms that no charges will be filed against Prince Andrew or other high-profile individuals linked to Epstein. It also states that investigators found no credible evidence of a “client list,” despite public speculation.
Prince Andrew has consistently denied allegations made against him and reached a financial settlement in 2022 with Virginia Giuffre, who had accused him of sexual abuse when she was a minor. Andrew admitted no wrongdoing but publicly expressed regret over his association with Epstein, who died in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial.
