COLORADO DRIVER CHARGED AFTER CRASH WITH FIRE TRUCK — THREE FIREFIGHTERS INJURED

A 20-year-old man faces multiple violations after attempting to cut off an emergency vehicle in Aurora.

Authorities in Aurora, Colorado, say 20-year-old Javohir Asrorov has been summoned to court after attempting to cut off a fire truck responding to an emergency, resulting in a crash that sent three firefighters to the hospital.

According to police, the collision occurred when Asrorov’s vehicle pulled in front of the truck as it was en route to a call with lights and sirens activated. The impact caused significant damage to both vehicles and temporarily halted emergency response efforts.

Investigators later determined that Asrorov was driving without insurance or vehicle registration. He now faces citations for multiple traffic and administrative violations.

The injured firefighters were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and have since been released. Aurora Police emphasized the importance of yielding to emergency vehicles, reminding drivers that failure to do so can have serious, even life-threatening consequences.
