Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown has been arrested and charged with attempted murder following a shooting incident outside a celebrity boxing event in Miami’s Little Haiti neighborhood — marking a violent new chapter in the athlete’s long and troubled post-football saga.
According to the Miami-Dade Police Department, the altercation occurred on May 16, shortly after a match ended at a local venue. Witnesses say Brown became involved in a heated argument with another attendee and allegedly grabbed a handgun from a security guard before firing two rounds, one of which grazed a man’s neck. Over the past decade, Brown has faced allegations ranging from domestic violence and battery to unpaid child support, as well as multiple civil suits tied to erratic behavior and contract disputes.
