⚖️ WHITE HOUSE DENIES CLAIMS OF “EPSTEIN PEDOPHILE LIST”

OFFICIAL SAYS RUMORS OF FEDERAL FILE LINKING AMERICANS TO EPSTEIN ARE “TOTALLY FALSE”

WASHINGTON, D.C. — November 12, 2025. A White House official told POLITICO on Wednesday that circulating claims alleging the U.S. federal government possesses a secret list of American pedophiles connected to Jeffrey Epstein are “totally false,” pushing back on misinformation spreading amid renewed public scrutiny of the Epstein case.

The comments come as Congress moves toward a vote that could force the release of a large trove of Epstein-related records, fueling a wave of speculation online regarding what the documents might reveal. Officials stressed that while federal agencies hold investigative files related to Epstein’s criminal activity, there is no government-maintained roster of U.S. citizens connected to sex crimes outside of standard law-enforcement procedures.

“These rumors have no basis in fact,” the official said. “There is no federal ‘list’ of Americans tied to Epstein. These narratives are misleading and undermine trust in legitimate investigative processes.”

Misinformation surrounding Epstein has surged in recent weeks, especially on social media platforms where unverified lists, fabricated names, and AI-generated documents have circulated widely. Analysts warn that such material often blends real details with invented ones, making it difficult for users to distinguish fact from fiction.

The White House noted that any records involving criminal allegations fall under the jurisdiction of the Department of Justice, which must follow strict rules governing sealed filings, victim privacy, and ongoing investigations.

Epstein’s known associates, flight logs, and court filings have been public for years, but thousands of pages remain sealed due to ongoing legal protections. The Epstein Records Transparency Act, backed by both Democrats and Republicans, aims to release those documents with limited redactions.

Officials emphasized that transparency must be balanced with due process: “No individual should be implicated by rumor or unverified documents,” the White House source added.

As lawmakers prepare for the upcoming vote, the administration says it supports lawful transparency efforts but warns Americans to remain skeptical of viral claims not supported by evidence.
