Former Nickelodeon Star Slams Manipulated TikTok Video as Completely False
Amanda Bynes has publicly denied a viral TikTok video claiming she was impregnated by former Nickelodeon producer Dan Schneider when she was 13 years old. The actress called the allegations “completely false” and said the video was manipulated.
The video resurfaced in November 2025, quickly gaining traction on TikTok and other social media platforms. It appeared to show Bynes addressing the claim against Schneider herself, but Bynes explained to TMZ that the footage was pieced together without her knowledge or involvement.
Parts of the viral clip were taken from an unrelated Instagram Story where she showed the man she is currently seeing and an old segment from “The Amanda Show,” in which she acted in a comedy sketch with Schneider.
Amanda Bynes has stated she does not have a TikTok account and has never posted any such allegations. Fact-checkers confirm there is no verified evidence linking Bynes to the viral claim.
The controversy arose amid renewed scrutiny surrounding Dan Schneider, following a docuseries, “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV,” which raised questions about his behavior in relation to child stars.
Schneider has denied wrongdoing and has stated his priority was always the safety and well-being of the actors on his shows. Bynes herself declined to participate in the documentary.
Bynes, once a prominent child star during Nickelodeon’s heyday, has faced rumors surrounding her personal life before, including a pregnancy scare in 2020, which was publicly clarified by her legal team.
Currently, Amanda Bynes is dating Zachary, a longtime friend and security company owner, as she continues to rebuild her life and career.
