The victims — two siblings and a 23-year-old man — died from blunt force injuries after a high-speed crash near Potomac Way and 56th Avenue.
The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner has identified the three people killed in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning near Potomac Way and 56th Avenue.
The victims were named as:
- Cristian Barrera-Ybarra, 28
- Ariana Barrera-Ybarra, 22
- Raul Fraire, 23
Police were called to the scene shortly before 1 a.m. on Nov. 16, where officers found a heavily damaged vehicle and confirmed that all three occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the Medical Examiner, the deaths were ruled accidental, with all victims suffering multiple blunt force injuries consistent with a high-impact crash.
Denver Police said speed was a contributing factor, though the full circumstances of the collision remain under investigation.
Authorities have not released additional details about the moments leading up to the deadly crash.
