AUTHORITIES INVESTIGATE FREEZER CONNECTION IN CASE OF SINGER D4VD, A SUSPECT IN THE PRESUMED HOMICIDE OF CELESTE RIVAS

Unsealed search warrants, resurfaced videos and reports of a large freezer are now part of the LAPD’s expanding investigation — though police have not confirmed whether any appliance was used to store remains.

According to the TMZ article, singer and content creator D4vd — already named a suspect in the presumed homicide of Celeste Rivas — is now facing renewed scrutiny after information surfaced about freezers that may be relevant to the investigation, according to TMZ reports and sources familiar with the case.

Authorities have not confirmed that any freezer was used in the crime. However, investigators are reviewing several pieces of evidence after Celeste’s partially frozen remains were found in a bag inside D4vd’s Tesla earlier this year, according to LAPD filings.

A FREEZER LARGE ENOUGH TO STORE A BODY

TMZ published an image of D4vd’s former rental home, showing a KitchenAid refrigerator/freezer. The freezer compartment reportedly measures approximately 74 inches tall, 14 inches wide, and 27 inches deep, with temperatures reaching –8°F.

Celeste Rivas — 5’3″ and 120 lbs — was found dismembered, according to the report. Forensic experts told TMZ that a torso of that size generally measures 15–17 inches long and 14–15 inches wide, meaning it could have fit inside such a freezer if shelving was removed.
Authorities have not stated that this freezer was used.

A SECOND FREEZER APPEARS IN RESURFACED VIDEO

Another video from September 4, 2024 — filmed in a different house — shows D4vd standing beside what appears to be a 7-cubic-foot chest freezer, according to TMZ.
The LAPD has not confirmed whether this appliance is connected to the case.

BODY FOUND PARTIALLY FROZEN

As previously reported, Celeste’s body was discovered partially frozen, even after being kept inside a car during hot Los Angeles weather. Police sources told TMZ they believe the remains had been frozen for “an extended period.”

A TRIP TO SANTA BARBARA RAISED QUESTIONS

Investigators say D4vd traveled to a remote area of Santa Barbara County in the middle of the night earlier this year and spent several hours there.
Authorities do not believe Celeste was buried there — but one theory under review is that the dismemberment occurred in that location, according to a source with knowledge of the investigation.

Another working theory is that the body may have later been moved to a freezer at a residence in Los Angeles. These theories are not confirmed, and LAPD is still constructing a full timeline.

WHY WAS THE BODY IN THE TESLA?

Investigators are still determining why Celeste’s remains ended up in the vehicle.
One possibility described by a source:
D4vd was allegedly away on tour, and other individuals may have been staying at the home, raising the possibility that someone discovered the remains — prompting them to be transported.
This is speculation under investigation, not an established fact.

The LAPD has executed search warrants and is continuing forensic analysis.
D4vd has not been convicted of any crime.
He remains a suspect, and all individuals connected to the case are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
